Track Day – Autumn Event at Queensland Raceway March 20th 2014 - Almost full

NEXT TRACK DAY – March 20th 2014 at Queensland Raceway.
FULLY BOOKED
Format: Open Track:
The event will start at 11.30am with registration required at the office. I've attached the 2 forms which you will need to complete in a single PDF. If you already have your AASA licence ignore pages 2/3. This is located on the download page of the event booking

After registration there is a compulsory safety brief and then a performance drive brief for those who would like to refresh their theory or have not done a track day at QR.
Following the brief bring cars into the pit bays, and time for some lunch and meet/greet.

At 1pm we have the track until 5pm, so plenty of time. Make sure you have plenty of fuel, there is a BP you can top up a few kilometres before the turnoff to Champions Way. Also a good time to inflate your tyres to 44 PSI

Please make sure and bring plenty of water, you get hot and dehydration is a risk. QR requires a helmet, long sleeves, long pants and covered shoes whilst on the track.
Also a good idea to bring something to eat, the canteen may not be open on the day especially if there is no morning event.

Driver Training:
Our Facilitator for the day is Doug Chapple and as in the past Doug is the first to make sure everyone has a great time and stays safe. Doug’s word on safety is absolute and he has full authority to ban anyone from the track who is causing a risk to others or themselves by dangerous practices. Fortunately this has never happened as all our events today have been incident free and we want to keep it that way. Doug will also jump in your car with you for driver training if you want; he can show you the lines or help you improve your skills and times no matter how experienced or inexperienced you are. This is included in the cost day, as Doug will be there he is happy to offer instruction and advice.

Advanced driver training will be available with David Russell (Race driver) if you would like to go to that level of intensity. David has done this with us before and is not only a great driver but offers excellent instruction. This is not included in the cost and can be directly arranged with David.

Spots available 25 (now 9)

Cost $175.00 per driver. This cost is dependent on the day being fully booked
Cancellations: I can’t offer cancellations, but if at the last minute you can’t attend you can transfer you spot to another driver

Iam happy with either. Dave explained a half day is 1130-5 with 4 hours of track time which seems more than sufficient.

Yes, that's about it M, start 11.30 am with sign in, track brief, parking up in the pits, a bit of lunch and then on the track doe 4 hpurs. It's always been plenty for most and as one of our group points out any longer and you would need to refuel

Hi Guys.... Our booking date has been changed. . This was done by Queensland Raceway and is beyond my control. The date is now March 20th 2014. There are 9 spots left. If you have previously booked and can't make it please let me know and I'll refund. If you have not registered or booked already please do so asap. Bookings are strictly based on booking forms being completed, if you want to come please book using the link. To keep these at a low price and frequent the event has to be fully booked to go ahead.

Cheers
