powerchip is good. there's not too much drone w just a primary cat delete, but this exhaust does have load of drone at certain rpms.

An E92 system probably had to be adapted here, fitted to a car, sent to China for copying, then the copy had to be test fitted to a car to verify fitment and make any adjustments, and then ten or more have to get shipped over by boat. Looks like the process is nearly over. I am very interested for my E90 M3. The Megan exhaust offers a lot of bang for the buck. I wish they would make a resonated X pipe with full cat delete.

The sosi is just a partial pipe like the fabspeed. Neither do the front cats. Both are just the mid X section. I don't want to cut my stock pipes.

Kenny,

Buy an extra OEM midpipe, then get the Turner Test Pipes and call it a day. The OEM pipe can be had for $250, the Test Pipes around $400. If you go to sell the car put the OEM pipe back on and sell the modded xpipe I can almost guarantee that you will get 70% of your money back. One other thing, if you go to get a catted xpipe make sure the cats are farther down range. If you go with something like the Fabspeed setup with the primary cats being replaced by a high flow cat it sticks down to low. I had this setup and the cats rubbed on bad speed bumps or uneven driveways. Thats why I like the Turner Test Pipes or something similar that your local shop can do. This unfortunately will require code to delete the SES light. You can either go with the Akrapovic Delete R, or go with software ala PowerChips or something of the same ilk.

I don't feel it has a lot of drone at all, does it drone..yes but not that much. Its right at 2100-2250rpm that it does it. How often in an S65 E92 M3 are you at that rpm? A car that has a final drive ratio of 3.85:1 with a 6MT and aggressive tranny ratios. Not me anyway..

BTW, exhaust is made in Taiwan..not mainland China. Taiwanese do consider themselves as Chinese, but not the government or the country and an ally of the United States.

i did go with the turner test pipes thanks. I am really hopeful for some big gains with these test pipes. I will see how the car sounds with just the test pipes installed and go from there.

im hoping its not too raspy. i would like to add a muffler, but they are all too damn expensive and many are too loud imo.

looking forward to seeing if megan comes out with an e90 specific exhaust

Thanks,

I was looking for the sedan version. Guess I'll just have to wait.
