Gentlemen,

So the other day I was at a stop light in El Paso, TX when a 20 year old girl from Juarez rear ended my 2011 JMB E90 M3 with her 2007 Ford Focus Escort. I immediately got out of the car and proceeded to say every obsenity I could think of only to find out that she didn't speak english, thank God she had some form of insurance. The damage to my car was very very minor, my bumper was scratched, my diffuser was cracked, and my exhaust tip had a little blue paint on it from the hit. The girl was doing less than 5MPH and it barely moved the car. All that being said I wanted to ensure that everything was either completely replaced or restored to its original condition. The bumper is being fixed, the diffuser is being purchsed by a friend and the exhaust is for sale. Let me clarify that the "damage" to the exhaust is PURELY COSMETIC! The damage to the exhaust does not hinder its functionality or performance in any shape, form, or fashion. I simply made the insruace company replace it so that I could get a new exhaust and maybe teach this 20 year old a lesson why its not good to drive and text at the same time when her premiums go up. I dopped the car off today to start the work, my new exhaust ships on Monday. I will most likely pick up my exhaust by the end of this week and begin cleaning it in order to get it ready to ship. I am 99% positive that the paint on the exhaust tip will come off with some soap and water. I will post some pics before and after the cleaning. The exhaust was purchased in late August and I have only put about 4,000 miles on it.

For those of you who don't know, the hybrid exhaust from Gintani is a mixture between the Sport ($1,995.00) and Race ($1,995.00) version. The exhaust is LOUD when you put your foot on the throttle and relatively quiet when your just out driving around. I get nothing but compliments about the sound and people asking me whats under the hood. Everyone seems to love it because its loud when you want it to be and the throttle blip sounds like a mixture of Fergie and Jesus! LOL! In all sincerity I have heard numerous exhaust systems but Gintani hit the nail on the head with the Hybrid version. I can't tell you how pleased I am with it. I am trying to sell this locally however I am willing to ship.

NO LOW BALLERS PLEASE!!!! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!!! I am asking $1,750.00 plus shipping or best offer, I am willing to negotiate, I can't afford to put this on here for dirt cheap because people will only try to get it for even cheaper. I am well aware of what a new sport and new race exhaust costs but I have been unable to find the hybrid exhaust on any website to include the Gintani website. For thos interested I am replacing this exhaust with a Gintani exhaust, I just wanted a new one because unfortunately thats the way I operate.

The tips appear to be (almost?) touching the diffuser on the leftmost side - based on the experience with my diffuser, they should be centered.

Is this damage inflicted in the collision, a fixable exhaust alignment issue or optical illusion? 2 pics straight on of the left and right sides would probably clarify it...

I can clarify this. The Vorsteiner diffuser was pushed slightly down and to the right when the collision occured so it is somewhat of an optical illusion. The exhaust is in perfect working order. My car should be ready monday so I will post pics with the exhaust off the car on Monday or Tuesday. The tip has a scuff mark on it but I am 99% sure if will be removable once I get it taken off and cleaned up. I haven't had very much traffic on this as of yet so lets bring the price down to $1,650.00 plus shipping. Lets get the exhaust off my hands guys! Thanks.

No I didn't get a new one cause nobody showed interest in my exhaust.
