If you're on the stock wheels and putting it on a E9X M3, it'll probably rub. I'm running 15mm all around on stock springs, and the rear has like, 1mm of clearance. Although I don't rub, everyone that looks at my wheels swears that I should be.

That's probably what Harris is worried about.

Getting it for your 550i? Or an aftermarket set of wheels and changing offset?

I'm already running 20mm but still not aggressive enough for me.

it's for an e92 m3 and I have aftermarket wheels. 25mm would look perfectly flush but what are the pros and cons of spacers, short term and long term?

Thanks.

More stress on the axle. Over 15mm and it causes serious stress. It's always best to not use spacers, but if you must due to looks then try to keep it minimum as possible (less than 15mm).

I would worry about length of the fasteners over any stress on the hub. 25mm essentially is double over stock.

Purchase the correct wheels for the car, don't make the car fit around the wheels.
