HRE Mount TPM Malfunction
Couldn't wait for the snow to melt. Mounted my P40/PS2s today and tried to reset the TPMS. Got a malfunction notice. Is there another method? I was told new sensors were on the wheel/tire package. I have no clue where the sensors reside, but I assume they are part of the stem assembly.
Thanks. |

I had the exact same thing after I installed my HRE/PS2's, but after driving for about 1 mile it went away and hasn't come back. think the car just needed to "re-calibrate" the new wheels/tires.

So were you actually able to actually reset TPMS in I-Drive? If not what problem did you encounter?
If the correct type is installed, there should be no problem at all after resetting. |

Mounted the wheels, then went into iDrive to reset the TPM, drove about a mile while the ABS looked for the sensors, then got the TPM Malfunction reading on the iDrive.
