Exclamation 2012 E92 Coupe Front Bumper

So I've spent the better part of an hour trying to search these forums and the internet for this one to no avail.. On the new E92 Coupes, there's these two pieces on the stock (non sport) front bumper that are silver.. see picture below:

Does anyone know if these are detatchable? Are they part of the grill assembly or just tacked on? And has anyone removed/plastidip'd these? I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep this bumper or order an M3/M-tech replacement based on what I can do to these pieces.

I'd do Vinyl if thats a better option.. I'm just trying to see what options people with this front bumper have gone with.

Thats what I thought originally but every site selling "splitters" shows these:

Which look like a seperate piece that attaches to the bottom of the bumper like a mini front spoiler...

YES! Doing a search for replacements I found a diagram that shows these are in-fact called "Finishing Rods".

I'm surprised no one berated him for posting in the wrong forum.

This was actually moved here by a moderator.. I think they meant to move it to the E92 non-m3 cosmetic forum.
