GT3 doesn't have back seats.
(Whoops... noticed this had already been answered)

Man... Makes me want get another cayman again...
You know, the bad thing about caymans are that when you have it you will love it until you feel that the power is just not enough for such a capable chassis. And at that point you're looking for other alternatives thinking; Maybe I should have got a 911 / M3 / Elise sc... After some time you end up selling the Cayman wanting "more" but you get into a car that's not as balanced and has more power. At this point you want the cayman again. Such a viscous cycle.

I've come from a Boxster S and Carrera S, both of which are very difficult but obviously very capable. My E90 basically is the most practical car I could find that is in manual and has a great engine, but I'd happily go back to a GenII Cayman S or R at some point down the track on the basis it wasn't my only car.

I drove the cayman s today. To me it felt kinda cheap and not very "sports car" Thats why i will be going with the m3. Also dont want to pay $1600 on brakes. Just my 2 cents.

The back seats of the 911 are fairly useless as seats but they make a good storage area for items that that you would like access to on a road trip like a small cooler for water, etc. Additionally the seats in the Cayman do not recline. I have several friends who have (or have had) both Caymans and 911s and they seem to feel that the Cayman handles better but the 911 is a better GT car for longer trips.

My problem with the Cayman backrest is it can't recline enough due to the firewall being directly behind it. When test driving the Cayman, my upper back was hurting me.
The BMW sport seat fits me like a glove-never an ache or pain. |
