Were you able to reel in "lil brother"(1M) at some point? Looks like he had a few wheel skills......Phil

I hate it when I hit the wipers on the track.

I got him on the next lap but Harry's Lap Timer only videos every other lap. Once I botched the exit of that left hander his torqe advantage really moved him up that hill.

He is a faster driver than me and I think I only caught him because his tires cooked off.

Cool...I guess your wheels didn't come off since there is no mention of a post track weekend disaster.

My lug nut torqueing skills are impeccable!

You drove a better line when you were chasing the Exige. When you started "red assing" after the 1M, you lost the line and you looked early on the apexes judging by the cones and the time taken to get on the gas after the apex on a couple of corners. Did the Exige hang behind you after you passed him? You were both keeping pace with the 1M at first. The only difference was the uphill bend where the lighter Exige will have a different line to the M3

I have only seen that track on film, but it looks awesome to drive! Good stuff!

I realized that myself (I love the "red assing" term)...I quit chasing him and worked my line on the next lap and caught him....good eye

The Exige kept up with us for another half lap then went off track sideways (no roll though)

It was the last run of the day and everyone was pretty tired.

Looks like it is a more suitable track for 1M.. Short straights, not so fast corners.

Good driving OP.

Ehh... I think M3 is easier to drive compared to Elise/Exige.

You are correct. The M3 is automated :-) No driving aids in a lotus
