Well, I was worried about my insurance going up this period, but it actually went down for some reason. I guess the rate hikes aren't universal.

Somehow only paying Geico $349 for comp/collision/liability (max liability limits) for the next 6 months. 25 with bad driving history

$349 for 6 months? That's excellent. What state are you in?

Geico and USAA are the only ones I know of that currently offer a 7 year/100k vehicle warranty for new cars, however. I picked up this extension on my M for less than $45 a year. That's a difficult deal to pass.

I shop around ever time my policy is up for renewal, but have been with Allstate for 3 years now. We are currently paying $768 every 6 months for my M and my wife's Audi Q5. Between us we only have my one speeding ticket in the last 5ish years (73 in a 55).

I have USAA and though my rates had decreased slightly as my M3 got older, I too saw about an 8% increase starting with my renewal in July.

Well actually more than that as BMW no longer supports BMW Assist on my car so I saw an extra $40 increase over 6 months for loosing the stolen vehicle location service

This is really bs. I'm in NYC and my rate went up as well. They just said it's "due to your area" and cost to fix the car has gone up, blah blah. I've shopped around other companies and even with the price hike, Geico was still the cheapest so looks like I have no choice but to stay with them. I'm now paying almost $200 a month.
