Aftermarket trunk paint costs
How much did it cost you guys to paint your aftermarket trunks? I am being quoted 500+ to just paint space gray to match my car. Just wondering if that's normal?

It's high but to be honest, I was raped for even more when I had mine done.

From my experience that is a good price for a quality job.
I know of some places that paint bumpers/trunks for $100 and let's just say you get what you pay for. I didn't want to cheap out for my E90 and went to the most reputable shop I could find in my area (Chapparone for you locals). Paid exactly $500 to have my OE LCI trunk painted and couldn't be happier. The match is perfect and quality OE or better. So if I was you I'd do some research, read reviews, ask around and if the shop checks out you should get your money's worth. |
