It's so funny you say this because my friend just put 2k into his SS putting down ~500 hp crank. If he has headers, high flow cats and an intake then you should be able to get him. Depends if your doing a dig or roll also because the camaro has limited traction on street tires. I'm stage 2 with cat delete and filter and I think you should take him with similar mods. Run him and let us know the outcome

i came from a modded SS. (cam, heads, LT headers, cat back, intake, custom tune) . put down 490WHP all day long.

LT headers, intake and tune usually net you 410-420WHP. on a LS3.

add a cam your around 450-500WHP. highly depending on how aggressive the cam is. also lots of people do heads.

LT headers, intake and tune WILL not get your 520BHP. its a fact. and i doubt hes S/C.


also muslce car guys ALLLWAYS say they have more power than they have. even i did this haha

if hes cammed he should be faster, if hes not i think the M3 might be able to win. specially if your DCT. a full exhuast M3 with a tune is no joke either!

if hes not cammed i say you have a chance.
