I don't think I would be alone if I said I disagreed with this statement. It give's the newly reupholstered interior an updated look.

What's wrong with the wheel, and what's wrong with the emblem? It's a steering wheel off the CRZ, if I remember correctly. And, it's a HONDA NSX in any other part of the world. I really don't see a problem.

I guess you should go grab a Audi steering wheel and put it onto your BMW.

Sorry, but how is this at all relevant? Acura and Honda is essentially the same brand in any other part of the world, Acura only exist in NA because people care too much about brands. Where in the world is Audi and BMW remotely the same?

It was just an analogy of how dumb it is to put a Honda steering wheel on a Acura NSX. Civic SI steering wheel to be exact.

Why don't people put Toyota Camry steering wheel on a Lexus LFA. After all, they are the same company..

^ Hi

The owner modified a late model Civic SI steering wheel to emulate the Mugen NSX RR Concept look. Yes it's a civic wheel, but still 100x better looking then then the '91 OEM. He could have done what everyone else does with a nardi, momo, etc. but wanted to keep an airbag and also tie everything into the RDX retrofitted center console. Cheers,

Mugen NSX RR Concept:

love it, but yes, change the wheel.

regardless, if it had a pink toy wheel it would be still very amazingly well done.

no expense spared there.

Why does it matter if it's a Honda steering wheel? This car was a HONDA NSX long before it became the Acura NSX. He updated a 20 year old steering wheel, with a more modern wheel created by the same manufacturer. What part of it is so retarded or dumb? I'm interested in what you would do in his shoes? Perhaps, be a sheep as synth19 pointed out, and use the generic Sparco/Nardi steering wheel?

Your LF-A analogy need not apply because it already uses a modern wheel designed. That said, 20 years from now, if a Camry wheel works better than the LF-A, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with one.

Why getting are you getting butt hurt from people disliking the steering wheel? I didn't know that Honda Civic is a Acura NSX overseas? He is using a Honda Civic steering wheel on a NSX..Which is equivalent to using a Mini steering wheel on my BMW or Camry steering wheel on LFA. End of discussion. Go some more..

Btw, you should put that on your BMW..

I'm not butthurt over the idea people do not like the steering. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion; it's obvious that you don't like it - I respect that. What I'm annoyed about is, why it is so important that the wheel came off a civic? Does the thought of someone recognizing a supposedly "inferior" steering wheel on your car scare you? It just seems snobby to me, that's all.

Also, still not sure how your Mini and BMW example relates to this. You need to get over the fact that Honda is Acura. There's no such thing as Acura outside NA. But in any other part of the world, BMW and Mini is still 2 separate brands. Does it irate you to know that Audi/VW/Lamborghini share the same flat-bottom steering wheel across many of their models?

As for your suggestion, if I had a standard 3 series steering wheel, I'd gladly replace that piece of shit with that Mini steering. The feel is horrible, and quality is beyond cheap, IMO.

VERY WELL SAID!!!! I'd replace my crappy stnd 3 series wheel with that mini one anyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For one, at least the leather is smoooth!!

Don't think anyone should waste any more energy on insignificant beings by trying to defend your opinions. They have no respect for what others say, are extremely sensitive to any comment and are probably incompetent in processing knowledge on a short term basis (hence the perpetual argument point). But, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, he might actually be able to understand after a few years when he graduates from high school!

Like you said, we are entitled to our own opinion. Stop crying about it and get over it that some people don't like it. (I'm not the only one in this thread). People on the internet are too sensitive these days..

I am comparing Mini and BMW because I don't see how a Acura NSX is equal to a Honda Civic overseas. I'm pretty sure if someone put a Mini steering wheel on their M3 people would be bashing also..

I don't see any resemblance between the Lamborghini and Audi btw.. Gallardo & S4

EDIT: Also included 2011 Passat..
