Back to the search

Hi guys,

Sold my 08 e92 a couple of months ago in favour of a truck for work reasons. Now have crossed some "life" milestones off the list and I am ready to start looking for another M3.

This time looking for 2010 or newer, must have 6mt (loved the DCT at 8/10 and above but not around town).

I am open to most colours and lately have been interested in SSII.

My question is to the guys with e90's. How often to you use the backseat? I am going to include e90's in the search this time because I may need this and I also like the look of them with wider tires/lowered.

May as well throw in the ol trusty, "what do you think will happen to the e90/92 market with the new M3/4 roles out?"

What modifications cause a car to be a "no-go" for you guys? which ones increase the value (to you, not in general).

M3 drivers have no friends. So you won't need to use the back seats very often. I only used them once in the last 7 months.

Hey bud,

I think Rob from Tunerworks is selling his 2011 E90 space grey. Very nice car.

Edit... Yes he is

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...3&l=350adf7001

But it is DCT.

Minor bolt-ons would be my limit.

Speaking from from my move from e46 to e92, price of the held very well until used e9x started to show up and then it fell like a rock...

Having owned an E90 and currently owning an E92, I wouldn't hesitate to get back into another E90. Didnt use the back seat much for passengers, but did like being able to easily throw a jacket or whatever in the back. Also made transporting track tires etc, back and forth much easier. Definitely prefer the beefier look of the rear on the E90 as well.

Thanks! I saw that for sale. Perfect car save for transmission. I think I would consider DCT if there was a track around here. Wish we had access to the tracks like the Ontario guys. I miss Shannonville, Mosport, Cayuga (don't care what they call it now, it's still Cayuga to me).

E90s rock. My friend has an E92 335, it is very annoying getting into the back seat. Furthermore, the doors on a E92 are bigger and are a pain in the ass when parking to someone close.

This is true. I had an e92 M3 before so I know the pitfalls of climbing in the back seat (just means no one asks for a ride).

I think where I am at in life means I may need to strap something of great importance in the back sometime soon. The e90 seems to make a ton of sense and as Jaypod said, the rear end looks great.
