Any use for expired helmets?

Does anyone know if there is any use for helmets that have expired. I have an SA-2000 helmet that's in great shape (I always wear a baclava(is that right or is it a bad desert?)/head sock), but no longer good for DE events.

I don't want to sell it, I just want to donate it to some club that might have some use for it. Would it be okay for autocross or go carts?

Anyone that is racing in an Endurance series can still use those helmets for their refuelers or at least we can up here.

I always need extras for karting because I hate destroying my $$$ helmets.

I've heard that BMWCCA is going to allow Snell 2000 helmets for one more year.

I think they look cool behind your wetbar in your house.

Its balaclava. Baclava is an amazing dessert. But anyway yeah I am in the same boat. Time for a new helmet

If buying now, make sure to get a SA2010 spec, most just came out within the last month or two.
