No offense, but I saw one of those in downtown b-more...only dif is it was sitting on blocks and something tells me the crew that did it, did it for free. lol

I have been hearing a lot of great things about VS Motorsports from the Windy City BMW Club members, etc. I will have to stop over at your place soon and talk to you about some things.

Thanks, great to hear. We are actually moving very soon to Schaumburg IL, but you can come stop by at our shop in Buffalo Grove in the mean time.

Here are a couple pictures of the M3 on the scales with the interior out. This is also without the heater core, most of the coolant out, and the intake manifold off.

Yeah that's pushing it and it's a long haul down there even for me and I'm 4 hours closer. Still want to get to that event and Daytona one year, I'd love to piggyback on somebody's stacker if you guys ever decide to go

Looks like there's about 300lbs of T2-required equipment (safety gear/cage, water, dash, driver's seat, stuff you mentioned) missing from the car? Pretty awesome that it can get that light, that's a lot better than I thought it'd be. You're going to be carrying a lot of lead...

Not much of an update yet but the steering wheel, hub, and quick disconnect is all in.

Hopefully we will have the car back in about a week.

Good news is it looks like the SCCA is going to approve some modifications on this car. Hopefully springs,sway bars, front&rear brakes, and less weight
