i'm too lazy to read all that, but did it mention anywhere that the GTR has a better driving experience over the GT3? "Driving experience" as in the Fun Factor with the 911 setup...

ah, it is not as engaging since you don't get the full third pedal experience. However, they did note that the DCT is a whole new experience and it makes the GT3 feel like last generation. The DCT almost makes the transmission from F430 Scuderia and Lambo feel "agricultural".

Triple threat. Straightline, Track, and Comfort.

Seems like an easy choice for me?

That was an addicting read. Thanks for posting up the scans!

I'm blown away, really. To beat a Z06 in a drag, top an R8 in dynamic capability, and best a GT3 around a track, for LESS money than any of those, is, well, staggering. This car is amazing. It's nothing short of an engineering masterpiece.

Each and every article I read about this car makes me want it more and more. M3? What M3? I want this.

well... u gotta wait for like a year for them to clean all bugs. at least BMW has been running the 3 series for like a year before the release of the M3. so "hopefully" they got some of the stuff corrected, wth potential bugs anyway.

GT-R is a fucking beast, sounds strong, smart and fast

BUT NO FUCKING MANUALLLLLLLLL

I'm all for DCTs that allow you to peg the revs against the limiter and if it provides instant shifts.

Funny how most M3 enthusiasts claim that the GT-R is in a different class, but what they don't realize is that the M3 was designed from the start to be a blend of luxury and performance. Just like the R35.

I can't wait to see this car on the street. If it does everything that they claim, it will be the hottest car out there. Why pay double for a Porsche Turbo if this car will do the same thing?

The car magazines are showing a excellent performance results on the GTR so far, what 95% of the people do not knowis that the GTR is being sold at a average of $20000 to $45000 over the MSRP.

You don't have to waste your time doing your search, not just me but many other people that try to get one found the bitter reality of the MSRP mark-up.

Not only the nation wide Nissan dealers don't have enough allocations but add the fact that you will have to pay $20000 minimum for mark -up and that does not count the mandatory deposit(anywhere from $5000 to $20000, that is the average).

There were 4 dealers offering some of the GTRs at MSRP but they sold out very fast. Before I purchased my 2008 Z06 I was after the GTR, unfortunately there was no luck. With that said good luck getting one because the current market makes the GTR totally uncompetitive performance/price wise.

That is one reason why I am driving a Corvette Z06 today. I can order a Corvette tomorrow and have it custom built and delivered to my house in about 6-8 weeks, you can't do that on the GTR. As long as the GTR are brought to the US is small quantities the more that it would hurt the customer, the more expensive they will become.

GT-R is a daily driver, even has a "snow" mode.

Is this EVO on stands yet in the US? I haven't seen it, thought the CAR with a similar test (compares it to the Porsche 911TT, Audi R8, and BMW M3) is already out.
