Talking POST-Your excuses to the wife to drive the M3

I'm waiting to take delivery of my car the week of 9/19 via the Performance Center.

I have a feeling the wife is going to be as enthusiastic about driving the car as I am. This means-I need to plan ways of having more face time in the ///M.

Something tells me I will be volunteering a lot to run errands to drive the car. So let's start making a list of excuses as ammo and build up our arsenal.

Hahahaha. I did that as well.

Our conversation went something like this:
Me: Gotta drive the M3 for the break in period.
Wife: At 9 in the evening???
Me: Oh well, I need to get the break in service done by this week so we can go out of town.
Wife: Oh ok. Just be safe. Take care.
Wife: Wait, do you really have to go this late???
Me: Out of town this weekend, out of town...
Wife: Fine fine, just go and be safe.
Me: I'll get some popcorn and a redbox CD on my way back.
Wife: ....
Me: Kiss kiss. Love you!
Wife: Just go.

If you need to make up an excuse to drive your car, then you may have married the wrong woman. Just saying.

Just mod the hell out of the car, and make sure you have some sort of exhaust, and she will not want to drive it.

Mine drove it once. She could take it or leave it; too scared to get it to redline. She'll stick with her G37x(until i get her an X5)
