Just ordered my first Evolve tune w/ the Overun feature. Interested to see how it stacks up to the other tunes I have tried. Now the waiting game...

For everyone running the evolve stage 2 tune with the overrun feature, please try this:

4th or 5th gear, with ~60% throttle load, accelerate until 4900rpm, let go of the throttle completely, enjoy evolve's crazy symphony!

That works amazingly well or if you get the exhaust really nice and hot :-)

Sometimes it can be a continuous gun fire.

Ok guys,

update on this. Lots of people have had this upgrade now.

The results are obvious.

Cars with stock exhausts require lots of unburnt fuel to make any noise. This is in the region of what we consider excessive.

Cars with Akrapovic exhausts - will make some noise but the exhaust really does absorb too much sound.

Evolve E-Tronic valve closed - very little effect, again too noise absorbent.

Evolve E-Tronic valve open - lots of noise on the over run and very deep (due to 65mm straight through to tail pipe design)

Eisenmann Race, Gintani Race, Active, Innotech (Valves opened) with HFC and resonators - a good amount of noise

The above exhausts with CATLESS with or without resonators in the X pipe - lots of noise on the over run.

Yet to try the stock exhaust modded but given it's path it should make a lot of noise too.

This really does turn the driving experience into something else…. as experienced by us too on a daily basis :-)

My supersprint sport appears similar to the Evolve muffler and I'm catless as well. My car pops loudly now when cold shifting. I can't imagine how good it would sound with this. Is this more of like the new Jag overrun... lots of popping under decel or short popping/crackling.

PM me looking to get something from you ASAP; thanks.

It is more of a short popping and cracking.

For the continuous version we need far more unburnt fuel and that's not ideal.

We are testing our own 02 sensors on calibrations which do give way more noise (so yes, it is possible). If they survive and don't get too coked up then we will release that version too.

Not listed but I assume Challenge Race Xpipe (no cats 2 reso) + Challenge cat-back will work?

I am now running an Akra and can confirm it does pop pretty good, it did also noticeable with my stock exhaust when I had in on for a few days in between.

How about test pipes on stock midpipe? I have Dinan rear section + TP's and it's pretty loud as is.

Had the same thing happen to me. My order left from the UK last Thursday morning and arrived first thing Monday morning. Very impressed with customer service so far and looking forward to the tune!

+1 I have TP only and that popping on an aggressive downshift or suddenly getting off the gasis addicting.

Got my Evolve tune w/ this feature installed yesterday. First off I want to thank Imran, Marteen, and Sal for a great experience. Had a quick file issue at first (my side) but they worked with me and got everything solved in a very professional and fast manner. Hats off.

I have only had a chance to drive the car about 20 miles since the tune but the Overun Burble w/ my full Challenge setup sounds absolutely nasty. I'm pretty sure I shot a flame last night.

Can't wait to get it out on the track soon!

So I don't have a video but I'll try to get one soon. I had my buddy following me last night and he confirmed I was shooting flames out of both sides when my burbles were kicking. Now I'm worried about burning my bumper but it's pretty sweet.
