Lightbulb Best Meth Options M3 ?

Hey guys, just wondering who is running meth and which kit your using And does it help ? Supercharged cars ? Heat soak seems to be a killer after a few runs and I was also looking into a larger radiator ? Anyone have this on a boosted m3 ? Let me know thanks !!!!

I just purchased the Snow Performance Stg 2 (progressive) kit. Haven't tried it yet but EAS runs it on their boosted track car and it works perfectly according to them.

Please get a trunk mount. I did a washer fluid kit on my 335 and it was fantastic when it worked, but it had flow issues as the fluid would get too hot next to engine bay and not flow correctly. Meth boils at something like 150 degrees F (only) so when it boils, it will cause bubbles in the line and that what stops the flow. Also, it started fires in a number of 335's at the track and that in and of itself is a non-starter for most.

I don't particularly like water/meth and I'm only going to run it when it's really hot on the track to maintain cooler IATs.

Like I mentioned earlier, Snow Performance has a kit exactly made for your car with different nozzles depending on power...so it's a no brainer.

Did anyone try to spray the window reservoir w/high temp resistant paint?

I like Aquamist. I would not use the washer reservoir. I would run a trunk mounted pump and tank. More effort required, but safer and you still have washer fluid for your windshield.

EAS has made tapped throttle bodies for our M3's and so we have just such a water/meth option (after the heat exchanger on a blown car). It's around $1,200 from what I remember Tom saying but absolutely essential if you are tuning for meth.

Not sure but that's a good idea. I dumped my meth kit on my 335 last summer just as the stories about the fires were increasing and never looked back.

I think most of those guys have converted to trunk-mount by now.

I would do the proceed meth kit. It can be tuned to tune when meth is flowing and return back to whatever tune you are running when it is not running. It works awesome. But like others have said, most run a tank in the trunk.
