vs. Prius
I know this has been posted before but I just watched it again for the first time in 2 years and it made me LOL
17.2 mpg = Prius 19.4 mpg = M3 Win. |

I got a Prius too. Don't knock it. It's great on gas. We take it when we need a beater or when the weather sucks. It really does get 50 mpg. There is something about driving around in a hybrid that makes you want to drive even slower and smoother.

I got 21mpg in my Prius on Infineon Raceway, turning 2:22's using regenerative braking. I'm sure mileage would be worse using friction braking but laptimes would come down a bit.

Driving a prius is like riding on a train. I personally couldn't stand a silent car, I'd probably fall asleep after a long week with little sleep.
I love top gear UK, too bad the American version didn't follow closely enough. |

My dad got a 2012 Prius Plug-In to use the HOV lanes (stickers valid to 2015) about 7 months ago. The additional 90 lbs. weight gain from the extra batteries and softer suspension have dulled the car down. I wouldn't think of tracking that car but it is convenient to carpool solo.
