#1 on the list, delivery propably in september

It is funny a little bit, becuase now it is the only order in Poland-I heard it from my dealer. You have to buy a place in a list,I am the only person in the whole country(32 millions people).

I can't wait only 3 months.

Best regards,
Lukas

It looks like we're gonna need to start a Boulder, Colorado M3 team on this forum. I too put down a deposit at Gebhardt... This was just a few days ago.

Can you believe that I'm number #11 on the list?

Do you guys think I should look for another dealer list that is smaller?

Yes, I would...you should consider even having to drive a couple hours or couple hundred miles...I know a couple of people who did this when the M5 came out, it'll just help you get more familiar w/ the car & you'll be done w/ break-in quicker...so again start searching & yes smaller dealers might be a little better...search to be in the top 5...

Thanks... I'm a bit new to this whole jockeying for position thing. Should I assume that smaller dealers get smaller allotments?

I placed a deposit today for a sedan at BMW of Austin, #2 on the list. The salesperson, who was friendly and knowledgeable, said the list for coupes was around 26.

Heck, I placed mine in Portland 10/05 and only got #9! 10/07 update: I've been told I'm #2 now!

I'm on the list with Prestige in NJ. $1,000 deposit and guaranteed MSRP. I was going to break the lease for my CLK500 and go into a 335i but I'm willing to wait till my lease is over so I can get something far better.

First e90 M3 Sedan deposit holder in Australia

Hi

I put down my deposit on a e90 M3 sedan about 3 months ago and my dealer at BMW Sydney told me i was the first in Australia with a sedan deposit.

I'd previously had a deposit down on the e92 M3, and ended up buying an e92 335i monaco blue coupe instead (awesome car). Now that it's time to roll over the family SUV, the M3 sedan presented the perfect 'family' car excuse.

Also, whats the diff E90/92/93?? just different countries? I would also like to know what specs to add, im not at all familiar with the "m-dynamique package" and whatever else to add...Thank god I want have to choose between man and smg cos 1st 6months only manual! and E46 smg was a flop - so sceptical bout it anyway. please help with "optimum specs" i should chose, and whether i will get the value back when selling, thanks

Placed order

Found this forum extremely useful. Many thanks to all the contributiors, especially SteveD. I have now placed my order (had my name down since mid-2004 to ensure I was first in queue!!). I've specced my car as follows:

Interlagos blue
Beige leather - NOT extended
19" alloys
EDC
PDC front and rear
DAB radio
Storage pack
Tracker Horizon (the one with GPS)

Dealer has 1st week of October as current delivery estimate, but this may be brought forward into September depending on production scheduling. Dealership is Calterdon BMW, Inverness (I lived there at the time and bought my current M3 there). They are only being allocated two cars this year and mine is the first one coming in - really looking forward to taking delivery and getting those first few thousand miles out of the way. From memory, my current M3 didn't really loosen up properly until it had over 10k miles on the clock. It now has 86k and still goes like stink and can still achieve over 30mpg easily on motorway runs.

Cheers .. DC
