Why aren't there any Twin Screw SC kits out there?

I tried to do some research on twin screw set ups and found nothing. Maybe ESS and others can chime in on this? Not really sure if its just space limitations or what but I am curious. Any thoughts?

I would say your guess is correct; space limitations. I don't think there is enough clearance space under the hood, even with our 'power bump'.

It's only a matter of time before a turbo or twinscrew kit is out IMO. The E46 turbos didn't start coming out until after production ceased. Yes some companies have tried apparently. It's difficult but doubt its impossible. That's a strong word. Hopefully with the growing FI community we will see some great new products!

You cannot run a twin screw on individual throttle bodies.

Interesting, I didn't know this. Could you elaborate on why if its not too much trouble?

Answer:

Its a design conflict when you have Individual throttle bodies. Twin Screw's have to be mounted after the throttle body and usually bolt up as a new intake manifold directly to the head. The E92 M3 has ITB's and you would have to basically remove the ITB's to mount a Twin Screw.

How about 8 individual mini twin screws?!?!?!?! Think of power as a power function!

Someone is doing a TS S65 as we speak.

I think the main problem is the boost delivery of TS. With the high 12:0 CR, no DI and a supercharger that makes boost almost from idle, it's just a ticking bomb.

Physically mounting a TS is not the issue it is tuning it to run properly that causes the problem with ITB's.

It's an E36 with a S65 in it. First it was meant to be a NA screamer but then the owner decided boost is better. The SC is a Whipple 2.9L unit IIRC. I wish i knew more, but i was in a rush and couldn't stay with the car more.

It is. 9.8:1 CP pistons + Carrillo rods.

BTW nice job on the new Rotrex kit. Great power with smooth curve. I'm thinking i should give the M3 more love...

I would think WOT would be fine but tuning a twin screw on ITB's for partial throttle would be a nightmare.
