Update Nov. 30, 2011 ... picked her up Monday evening it has been raining ever since, the sun just peeked out so I took a few photos with my iPhone they are ===> HERE

I Just purchased a new 2012 e92 M3 and will pick it up on (EDIT --->) Monday November 28 PM. Once I have it in my garage I will take pictures. Meanwhile here are the details;

Thank you! I am actually ecstatic

great smile just having a glass of red to celebrate. My last 3 Bimmers were all used by others before I fond them ... now to pick up a brand new one is just wonderful.

Hmm...Why bother? I swapped out that carbon leather stuff for the Performance polished carbon trim. Incredible how nice it looks and OEM fit and quality too. Enjoy her.

Thank you Julie, I almost got Mark's car ... then my wife insisted I get a new one. Well I will get used to the iDrive I think it will be safer then my ever wandering around the cabin TomTom

... when I got the AW M3 it had no iDrive the deal was just too good at the time for me to pass up. Meanwhile I got used to our DD having the MB Voice Control Command System it is actually cool.

Thank you, the trim is the only item I am not sure about, I'll see it on Saturday. Did you swap it out after you got the car? If so how much did it set you back? Can you take a picture for me? Thanks

Since this is now your first brand new bimmer, it is totally understandable. people that buy used sometimse just do not get it because they think they saved a bunch of money for the "same" car and they never miss the new buying and owning experience.

I love seeing my car at the dealer brand new, I love being able to do the first detail and keep it absolutely perfect paint from the get go. Love the brand new interior/leather and again being able to control how well I take care of it and keep it brand new.

There is also pride in owning something from the beginning. I love knowing my engine from day 1 and its quirks and know that I completely spoiled it with frequent oil changes, filter changes way to ofte and engine detailing.

So much more that is hard to explain but if you have never got a brand new car that you ordered it is totally worth it! Enjoy! Not sure I would have done it if I had a 2011, used or not! I probably would have gotten another car if I was set on buying a new one.

I have my eye out for a used m5 and am looking but in no rush. Would be my first used car and I am a bit hesitant!

See I was too busy searing all over North america to find the car that I was looking for.

So I will (once I am done here) express my discuss in your photo thread of your new M3 2012 wheels

Actually this old by here was called out of retirement this year to lend his tiring however still sharp brain to help out with a few projects

So after a heart to heat with my loving wife we agreed I am due for brand new wheels, wheels that no one before me abused

know what I mean.

So now I be the one to gently break her in as it should be all by myself

BTW Thanks kmarei for the picture thread your car looks fantastic ,,, now I will not sleep tonight knowing what is in store for me on the weekend

I still don't have any pics. The car has been too dirty for pics or I have no time. I'll PM you about the trim though.
