GC Camber Plates Install

Hey guys,

How long does it take to install ground control camber plates on an E92 M3? Also these ground control camber plates will these work with the stock springs and retain EDC functionality? I have tried but have not been able to find any definite answers. Also if you are in the Atlanta area could you recommend an installer??

Thanks,

Adam

I have a set that were installed last Fall. I had them installed by a reputable import shop and they took a bit under 4 hours to install with an alignment. I have EDC and stock springs and there were no issues. They now have a few thousand miles and approx 10 track days with no issues, no noise or other problems.

I had mine done by the local BMW dealership. They charged 3 hours plus an alignment. But they did put markings on the GC plates showing -3 Deg and -1.5 Deg.
Very easy to adjust at the track: 5 minutes per side. No realignment needed yet after 8 track days.

Took me about 2 hours both times. Check the bolt plates before installing. The bolt in mine started turning before I even torqued the nut down.

I wish some of these shops were on the east coast bc everyone over here is saying at least 2.5 hrs. + alignment.

It can technically be done in less than 1 hour if the shop knows what they are doing. We just tell our customers to expect to be around for that much time plus alignment so they can plan their schedules accordingly.

2.5+ is possible if they have never worked on this car before.
