Also with the Akrapovic system you do not see the canisters from a normal angle of view - only if you are lying on the floor...

Here is a picture that I took, standing behind the car.
Sorry for the poor quality, I used my mobile phone - a Sony Ericsson...

Nice. I just saw an ACROPOVIC ad in SPORTAUTO carmag issue 2 '09. Looks nice. Also another ACROPOVIC ad for the 997GT3 in the same mag. Don't know anything about them. Who are they?I guess they are rather expensive....

A re-programmation of the ECU is not necessary. Just plug-and-play!

The price is 4.950 Eur VAT included. Correct? Do you ship the exhaust to Spain? Do you know someone in Spain that should perform the installation? Could you tell me your email, so we can talk the details? Thanks.

Great to see motorcycle exhaust manufacturers step into the automotive game.

Akrapovic makes amazing titanium pieces.

I had one on my Yamaha R1 and the build was impeccable.

This M3 unit looks to be up there in terms of quality

I have a new video for you:

It is showing our M3 with Akrapovic Evolution system, accelerating at the exit of Monza pitlane. Enjoy!

A-workx, is it just me or this video the exhaust note is deeper than the sound clips posted on your website? The very first sound clip on your website with the car starting up and revving the engine has a raspy sound yet your latest video has no rasp at all and sounds deeper. I love the sound in the video, if that's what it normally sounds like...

Hi sard,

the quality of the soundfiles we had first on our website is not the best. But the main difference is that in the first files the engine was revved in neutral gear position with no load on the engine. Here you have that raspy sound.

During acceleration (with load on the engine) you have that wonderful deep V8-sound! In the top revs (above 7.000) it gets a little bit raspy, like a Ferrari 430 for example.

I hope my explanation is understandable - sorry but sometimes I am missing some words in English...

If you need any further information, please let me know!

Florian

No that answered my question. I emailed you a while back as i'm interested in this exhaust, just seeing when I'll save up enough to actually pull the trigger. Thanks for the response!

Not yet. It looks like this will still take a while. But I certainly keep you updated as soon as I hear something new!

My question: what design would you prefer? Polished (like chrome)?
