M3 vs. 08 MB CLK 63 BS?
How would the M3 do against this car? I would assume that the 63 is faster in the 1/4 but the M3 would take it on a road course? I'm not that big of a MB fan. Mainly because I can't stand the interiors on any MB car and the fact that you can't get a 3rd pedal. They have great exterior styling though. I was just browsing cars.com and came across this car that I didn't even know existed. Though the CLK BS only came in current generation body.

On a track it would be a drivers race with the MB having a slight advantage because of power. In a straight line the CLK63 Black Series would beat an M3 easily.

Yes its set up for the track but it has an awful automatic and its heavier than the M3. Believe me, I owned a CLK63 Black Series for nearly two years.

The only awful thing is that it does not rev match downshifts like the C63 or the newer models with MCT. M3 shouldn't have a hard time keeping up, but after seeing one in person, it is a thing of beauty. Squats like a DTM car and makes the most wonderful noise out of those large tailpipes.

I think this is the one MB that I might choose over the M. Just look at this thing!
I was at a Ford dealership the other day and a guy pulled up in one of these. The sales guys told him to do a burnout and he did! A 40ft burnout right in the parking lot! It was amazing. This is one of my favorite reviews. Jeremy actually says "I though it was going to be like a BMW M3, but its not. Its in a completely different league!"

I got the joy of riding in a full bolt on (intake-header-mid-pipe-exhaust-tune) 600hp Black series at Barber Motorsports Park. It was a tad heavy ($ on tires and brakes) and you had to "pre-predict" the downshifts as the gearbox is crap but other than that,
Wow. Just Wow..
