I'm going to fart in your car if I ever get the opportunity too, lol.

Where is BESS? I can't seem to find an up to date location on any site. WTF?

Can really vary depending on how busy the VPC is but it was seven days from boat docking in Brunswick, GA to taking delivery of my car here in New Orleans. Assuming no damage in transport and a normal work load at the VPC it should be less than 7 days. I know my car arrived at the dealer in the early afternoon but they couldn't get the vehicle inspection and prep done so I picked it up the next day. Depending on other stops the carrier made and driving requirements etc it was probably two days on a truck as well...

My car was on the BESS last year , it arrived in port on April 10 and at the dealer on April 12. My dealer is only a few minutes away from the VPC though, so transit time was minimal.

If you have your vin #, go on the ships website and track the cargo. It's pretty cool.
Arrival into NY port is 3/15. I think BESS is in middle of sea somewhere and is out of range to be tracked on marinetraffic.com |

BESS is back on the radar! Very close to Halifax. Seems like it made it towards this side of the ocean safely :P

and I'm trying my best to make everyone here crack under the pressure. It's cool guys, remember, you still have 1 month of break-in driving ahead of you! under 5500 rpm, under 100 mph, no fun. And you know that hot chick in the office that knows you're getting the car and is gonna ask for a ride on your first week of ownership, and you have to tell her that your car has a limp dick b/c you have to keep it under 5500 rpms....think about it. |
