help me pray for my dog plz!!!!!!

she can't use her back legs, some kind of disc inside her is pushed up causing the problem. she got medical treatment from the vet, from now til tomorrow night. if she doesn't get any better, she could lose the ability to walk rest of her life

i am just speechless right now, love this dog to death and i would hate to see her dragging on the ground for the rest of her life.

update 5/6/2011 9am: dropped her at the vet for more treatment
update 5/6/2011 6pm: at the vet now, my dog can actually feel her legs pain right now, she is in more pain now than yesterday which is good according to the vet. hopefully she will be better by this weekend

How sad. Good luck. It's terrible when things like that happen to animals.

my last dog had that problem before, also a toy breed - pekingese...had to do with excessive jumping up and down putting too much pressure on it

Anyways there is a surgery that can be done to help, something like adding a plate - at that time (2002) it was like 50% successful rate and costs around 4k in new york. operation was successful but dog didn't move as swiftly as before, but still was able to walk, maybe something to consider

surgery would cost 5-6k minimal.......we decided to try the medical treatment which will cost about 800 when all said n done.

My 12-year old Boston Terrier gets acupuncture once a month for arthritis. I know it's not the same issue, but acupuncture might help your pooch. Best to you.

I hope everything works out for you and your doggy, but she won't have to drag herself around like you say if you get her a doggy wheelchair.

My thoughts are with you. Dogs get in our hearts, and it hurts to see them suffer. Hang in there, and I hope for the best for you and your bud.
