Early service indicator during break-in??

With only 887 miles on the odometer the car has prompted me to bring it in for service. How is everyone handling this? Are you taking it in early for the 1200 mile service then continuing to being "nice" to it until 1200? OR Just waiting until the full 1200 miles before you take it in? What's the general consensus on this one?

If you go into the idrive and look at service info. It tells you how many miles you have before service. I believe mine came up at 600 miles, and it said on screen you still have 600 miles to go. Dealership called me, and they said I should bring the car in for service when i'ts over 1000 miles.

I think it will come up early depending how you're driving it.

Correct, the indicator lights up early as a reminder to get it in at 1200.

does that mean the ones that got the early service light drive their cars harder? I guess the 5.5k rpm rev limit is just an invisible thing
