Any snow boarders?
I have previously put my board through the trunk and back seat, but have considered getting BMW's base support system and snow board transport attachment. Anyone else using this setup?

It's a bit noisy and you're not supposed to go over 80mph or something with it, but it's stayed on for continuous periods around 100mph or so... |

Watsup Anup! Didnt know you snowboarded?
Yea Ive done the same as you just fold down the back seats and put the board there. I dont think the other stuff is necessary IMO |

I'd be too scurred to do a jump like that! Yeah right now I just use the fold down seats, but thought a rack might be better. Wish the pass through was wide enough for my board.

I actually think a roof rack looks good, but gear in the trunk is much easier and convenient.
I don't really like taking the M3 to the mountain though. The drive up is nice, but worried about getting dings from someone walking through the parking lot with their snowboard. I see it all the time.....people are just so careless and rude about this. |
