Utterly pissed with Bad News - Production week pushed back even further
Got off the phone with BMW NA and said my production got pushed back now to week 24 instead of 19. I am so pissed. Also confirmed that with the sales manager at my dealership. He said he would make some phone calls to corporate to see what the problem is and hopefully fix things. But I'm now looking for other options and other dealerships.
 Still looking for a fully loaded coupe with dct, 19" rims and extended leather that would be able and guarantee delivery quicker than the time frame I have now. If anyone has any leads please let me know. Thanks |

It looks like i got pushed back to week 24. It was week 14 to week 19 and now this. It is going to take 6 months from ordering my car to getting it. What the HELL is going on. I placed my order Feb. 11th. It is do to the 19 inch wheels still being short.

As long as you guys don't push back those behind you over the Atlantic I won't get pissed. I would hate this to be a cascade-effect throughout the world... So far mine is still scheduled for week 27.

they told me week 15-24 is everyone else getting that or just week 24?
he also told me that they have the production package ready for my car, what does that mean? |

just got off the phone with a rep @ 800 number. My production week still scheduled for week 15. finger-crossed.

There's something strange going on. My production got pushed forward from 19 -> 15 -> 14 ->12. It's in the paint shop now.
The original date was due to M-DCT and 19 wheels - hopefully they will sort this out and move everyone back up.  |

I just called again, and now I'm week 25.... Will removing the 19 in wheel option push my date back up? My CA said the delay was due to the wheels and extended leather, but has no idea if removing the option would help at this point. Since I don't have extended leather ordered, I would be willing to drop the 19in wheels and just go aftermarket if I could get the car earlier.

I'm back to 24 as well. It seems that week 19 was the "default" week for all of us ordering the problem options. They've probably had more supply issues and pushed that back.

Two mentions of extended leather delay???
WTF is going on?? How is BMW so under-prepared to build this car? It's almost to the point where listing the things BMW does have in stock is shorter.
