BTW, at this Sunday's autocross no less than six people stopped by my car to say it was the best sounding car at the BMW club event. I was the only V8 there and I've got the AA Signature muffler. They were treated 8 times to a 3,000 rpm drop-clutch start and 8 times 44-seconds of 4,000 to 8,600 rpms of V8 bliss.

I can't wait until the next event where I'll get to hear it from outside.

Dave

It's hard to drive and run the camera at the same time.

I took my DSLR, which has HD-video capability, but I was either driving or working the course. At the next event in August, my brother will join me, so with the extra hands maybe we can get it done.

I just installed the AA system myself and couldn't be happier. Fitment was spot-on and the sound combined with my Fabspeed x-pipe is exotic & attention catching. Kudos to AA for an awesome set-up .

I agree...good to see that the rest of the AA crowd is on the same page...it sounds sooooooooo fukkin' sweet. Try romping on it through a tunnel....you will go into immediate sound heaven!

I hear ya. I fabricated a camera mount to the rear deck on my E46 so I could shoot videos, it's a cool solution for autox videos too.

No xpipe, but I love my AA exhaust. I get compliments all the time. Even the BMW mechanics were very impressed. They thought it was loud as sh*t.

YOU DID WHAT???????

I thought it was going to be GINTANI??? CONGRATS BRO! AA is a SUPERB COMPANY!

But don't come around next to me, cuz you'll be forced to switch to RPI!!!!! JK.

We gotta meet up soon and go exhaust to exhaust!

Maybe I'll buy the Fabspeed Setup and have Eloy install it so he can manufacture an RPI one?

Questions about Fabspeed X-Pipe and Cat Delete? Are there additional Fume Smells from the deletion of the 2ndary?

And once you delete the 2ndary, how hard is it to reinstall?

And it says on Fabspeed's site they provide the "X-Pipe with Resonators"? Does that mean the X-Pipe is set up to fit with the Stock BMW resonators or they actually provide their own set to go along with their X-Pipe?

Congrats again Elden!

Visited my 82-year-old dad in his swanky condo community last week in the AA E93. He's kinda hard of hearing. When I saw him over the weekend, he said, "I listened to your car for a while when you pulled out the other day. All I can say is it sounds ... perfect!" Gotta love a dad like that. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Hey Jay,

I've still got the Gintani ordered up . I just decided to bite the bullett and try out the AA, as I've always been interested in it. A little more money than what I wanted to spend, but well worth it, as fitment and quality were both top-notch. Going back to stock is as simple as using the provided clamps to mount the stock x-pipe. As far as resonators go you can go with none (which is what I have) or Fabspeed installs their own resonators for a little more coin.

I'll hit ya up when I'm back in Cali, Jay

The Fabspeed has zero fumes, as the primary cats are still in place. It wouldn't be any more noticeable than stock on your vert .

Elden--Very Sorry for Your Loss!

Thanks for your reply E! Awesome and Congrats. The only ? I have left is what is the power/Sound gain with Fab Speed X-Pipe and using their Resonators?
I have to assume it would be additional and worth another 795 above all our other Mods? Very tempted to pull the trigger as an add on Mod if it does produce noticeable and "Dyno Proven" power.
Congrats again on your AA Exhaust. Great Product!
See you soon my friend!

This setup is awesome you'll love it. I decided to go with the resonators and I replaced my primary cats with the Fabspeed HFC's. You can definitely smell it has race cats on it, but it's not bad like running no cats. No CEL and the sound improvement is amazing. A bit louder and more aggressive. According to Fabspeed they have dyno's showing gains. I haven't seen one with the AA mufflers on it yet, but I'm sure the numbers have to be about the same as with the full AA setup

MS filter + AA SIG is money well spent... love the note that the M sings now like a true beast that it is!

Thumbs up from a 996 owner a few weeks back he asked if it was stock or aftermarket... i told him it was stock LOL!
