Here's a quick pic for you.
Congrats on the new car! Is that AW or MW? Looks good with the tint. Anyone we know trade that one in?

I had mine tinted last week (light they call it 20%) looks sharp now and matches the roof ... cost me $225- with tax. I'll take a pic later the car is in the garage for a sensor change (to take care of bogus ABS alarms).

I'm researching this topic at the moment. I'm torn between a staggered set up and a square set up, both would run on 18's. What did you do?

Hmmmm....I might have a set of 4--18 x 9.5 VMR 710's (matte black, just like the picture) that I may be selling......I need a new set of track wheels to accomodate a 295 wide rear tire.

I'll keep you all posted.

Just picked up my car (sensor replacement to fix bogus computer readout, flat, ABS etc). As always the SA has the car washed ... nice to sign a bill for ZERO dollars anyway took some photos to show the 20% tint I had done last Friday.

My winter set up (Michelin ICE) is 18 inch same size wheels (square) on each corner. My winter wheels are after market 220M not Stock, got them fro a great price brand new one cannot tell the difference form the OEM wheels. They do recommend the narrow wheel for winter driving. I always used this setup even in snow ridden Alberta where I lived for quite a while. Wider wheels are not recommended for the winter time. Not that I take my babe out that often during the winter months, only when the roads are dry. Who can resist it Hate to lock her up all winter long.

redline9001 That is a nice looking wheel for a winter set up Did you get your tires from TireRack? I found last year when I purchased my tires that ordering from TireRack saved me a fist full of dollars, even with shipping. As I recall I saved $400- on the set of Michelin ICE ... would have payed that much more at Canadian Tires, go figure.

J - When did this DCT update come out? Is it new? I'm supposed to get Dinan software on Friday.

Was thinking the same thing... already? Gotta go polish up the winter setup. Probably early November...

I am going to run staggered cause i am reusing the winter tires from my e46 m3. 225 Fronts 255 rears. But the rims are both 9.5s and will run a square setup with the next set of tires.

No rims are from Tunerworks in Calgary, tires i am going to re use my E46 M3 tires Dunlop M3 winters in 225, 255. On the E46 i used stock 18" and no issues getting around Calgary for 3 years with this setup. Tires still look brand new so no point in buying new tires. Next time I need tires, I will be going with either 225 or 245 all around.

Speaking of Tires if anyone local wants a set of PS2s in 275 width with about 40% left, i will let them go CHEAP. I had them on my E46 M3 i need to get rid of them. Too much crap in the garage...

will get some pics up when i get home

Sounds like a good plan, winter tires seam to last longer then our summer tires as if we all don't know why hehehe

20% all around? Hope you don't get any hassles, the legal limit in Ontario is 35% on the fronts. I got mine tinted with 30% FormulaOne Pinnacle, I personally wouldn't go any darker.

That's what I meant, sides front/rear and back. It looks pretty dark in your pics but its hard to judge, if it is medium that is probably the standard 30-35%. 20% is definitely not legal on your side front windows but some people like it that dark.
