That thing is pretty badass, but what is the advantage to having that when you could have a car driving right next to you to accomplish a similar effect. Looks cool though ad with your skills i am sure you you would make some awesome pics.

If you want to spend all kinds of money to buy your creativity then go for it. Maybe if I had enough money that I felt it necessary to waste it on stupid shit like that then I would. Don't tell me that Photoshop is easy because if you guys could use it you would.

2 of the best e90post photographer agruing. subscribe.

shooting with another car drivng along is ver difficult to do. its nearly impossible to get 2 car move at the same speed. we know, we have tried this. this arm is defintely cool but not for $700 cool. just like ryan said, if anyone can find something cheaper, i'd be interested too.

Wow are you in an argumentative mood or something lol. Just because you can't attach your little P&S to a rig and get some motion shots doesn’t mean you have to talk S about me wanting one. Besides you make a shot like the ones I posted using a still on Pshop and I will kiss the ground you walk on. No way it can be done. Stop hating.

She would never know because she has never done it.

yeah i'm still waiting for a convincing chop of one of those pics so there's no arm.

If you're gonna use photoshop why not just do the motion blur in photoshop?

I've been wanting to see a good photo of a rig for forever. Lots of photographers guard their home-made ones like nuclear secrets.

Yup because you can make a lot of money with a good rig set up. The one I posted is the best I have seen most of them come is separate pieces and you have to create your own set up.

Thats very cool, always wondered what the rigs looked like.

I don't see the big problem with it, it is just another tool used by a photographer that helps in stabilization so you can concentrate on creativity. I don't find it any different than using a tripod to stabilize a photo. Seems like a silly argument.

Ryan, why are you being so harsh to Nikki? she just expressed a disinterest in the product, and a disagreement with it's purpose, and you attacked her personally.
Bad form man.

I think that the BOTH of you are amazing photographers in your own ways.

I think that this rig is cool, and can get some excellent shots, but there really are only so many things you can do with it. You can shoot different color combinations of background, from slightly different angles... Not worth the money. If you could get one for $100, ok go.

And Nikki's creativity in many of her "boring still photos" is incredible. The alternative angles and interesting positioning she uses makes the picture more than a boring still.

And her skill in P-Shop is intense. That is an art form all it's own.

I dont know, but to me seemed like "nikki" was the one attacking diesel? Who knows though. I've got the popcorn and watching the battle, and looking to poke in when I get a chance.

I never thought photography was a cheap hobby, and this is just another example of that. What is the need to spend a couple of k on a good camera? Because you get better shots. Seems like the same justification applies here.

Mine was $300 and that is relatively cheap for photographers. You get what you pay for. Mine lays flat, sturdy construction with triple screw points, balanced ball head, quick release, and slide off. The $15 ones (and i have one) don't hold up the weight of an SLR, don't like flat or have a removeable post for macro shots close to ground, and don't have a quick release mechanism to switch cameras nearly instantaneously. $15 ones also don't have a ball head...
