My M3 has been sold, now begins the part out

Just a heads up to local SoCal M3post members

I recently sold my car. The new owner didn't want some of the items so they have been removed, cleaned, and posted up for sale.

Check out my threads for some good deals, I posted everything under used market value to sell quickly.

No new car yet, its been difficult trying to find something to replace the amazing M3.

Sad to hear, you had one of my favorite M3s:

took me 6 months to completely part out of Evo8 in 2010.

I found out the hardest things to sell are acutally the most costliest items...coilovers, other suspension pieces, airbox.

Easiest sales are cosmetic pieces.

I had enough positive equity to hopefully roll into a new car with no payments. Financial responsibility sucks

So true, all the easy items are flying out the door but the bigger and more expensive items are sitting. I mean who wants to spend $200 on visors? lol

I also found out, generally you don't have to do price drops, you can just wait out for the right guy to come along and scoop it up. But again the really expensive items (or premium items) you'll have to sit longer on it and likely may have to do small price drops. Glws

+1 usually pay unless you get tired of trying to sell and start dropping it.

I just want all the stuff gone so I priced it well below market value. My plan seems to be working as I only have a few items remaining.

The other part of the 'and' is my R6

This will be a hold-over car until the new M4 comes out or maybe even a Turbo S.

I completely understand. You said what everyone has said to me so far. I don't see it as a downgrade though: same HP, 100 pounds more TQ; comparable handling (stock to stock [but damn this thing has body roll]); I have less gadgets and computers but that's how I wanted this car.
To compare fit and finish would be unfair as the M3 was a BMW and cost more than twice as much when new. This is my fourth Ford and the quality has jumped up significantly in the past few years. Comparing this 2014 base model Mustang to my fully loaded 2003 Cobra is no contest in favor of the 2014.

so are you modding the crap out of it just to turn around and dump it in a year? thought it needed brakes and suspension to work well at the track just like the m3. oh yeah you had a tow strap but never went right!
