The doctor said today that she may recover, but could pass away anytime between tomorrow and the end of the year. Sara is aware of this too.

I feel for you and your Love one. Here is a pretty famous poem that I always say when I am in pain. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said that once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. All of your support is great! You all are fantastic! I'm genuinely touched during this difficult time. The prayers are working as the doctors are "really surprised" how well her temporary recovery is coming along. Sara's pic is my avatar for those interested.

The sad reality is that no one at this point expects Sara to live for another 6 months. She will be going home probably sometime next week from the hospital. Sara has hired a physical therapist so she can learn to walk again and improve her motors skills. Her speech is imporving now. However, Sara is really committed to learn to walk and have the ability to take care of her daughter before her passing.

I told Sara that the only thing that has changed now is that our wedding date has been postponed until we are in heaven together. She accepted my heaven marriage proposal so I'm very excited! I wrote these vows below for our "Wedding in Heaven". I'm also working on a Top 10 Heaven Honeymoon Hotspots which I know she'll love. God, I love her so much!!

I take you, Sara, to be my exclusive everlasting wife from this day forward. I will cherish your gracefully beautiful soul with tenderness, commitment and pure love. That's the hardest part. It's such a senseless unspeakable injustice. Two years ago, Sara's abusive ex-husband slammed her side on the side walk. Unknown to anyone until last week, that caused a condition called a "brain herniation"; immense pressure mounts inside the head and then eventually moves then brain within the skull. The suregery is meant to put the brain back in place and reduce with pressure, but only has a 30% survival rate. FWIW, Sara's family will likely take criminal and/or civil legal action against the ex-husband at the appropriate time.
