dbacon, I don't see an issue with that.

Just did my first track day with these tires. They did very well. Felt a little softer than my PS2s but maybe that is because these were new (<500km) but once they heated up they performed well. Again, for less than 1/2 the price it's a steal in my opinion.

Btw...this thread is the sole reason I even heard about these tires. Thanks for the great info.

I just had my rears mounted and balanced. So far so good but only 10 or so miles as of this morning! I have a nice road trip coming up in the next couple of days so I'll pay more attention.

The standard fit Cont 3's on mine are 245 / 35 front and 265 / 35 rear.

So these will work for the front - 245/35R19 93Y XL TL

However the rears are listed as 265/30R19 93Y XL TL - this changes the front to back profile ration, or I could go:

275/35R19 100Y XL TL - But this is wider than OEM and seem to be a different type of tyre..

Anyone know the differences and if I can actually run 275 on the back of the OEM wheel.

Just an update.

I had the 275/35/18's installed in Feb this year. So far they have done 5 autocrosses, 3 days at buttonwillow, 2 days at laguna seca, and one day at streets of willow and they are still holding up well. No chunking, still a reasonable amount of thread left (but getting close). I expect these will hold up for the next 2 autox. Not bad for <$800.

They have handled real well and are a good solid tire. I may go for these again though I'm debating slicks.

Well, I just placed an order for 245/35/19 & 275/35/19 for my Volk TE37 Time Attacks so I'm anxiously awaiting for the set to arrive! What tire pressures are you guys using front & rear? I've been using 38/40 yet I still get noticeably more inner tread wear. I guess that's just the nature of the beast.

Assymetrical. Don't know anyone who does a unidirectional tire anymore - that would mean 4 unique tires for a staggered setup.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Hi All,

Had these on several cars before and rate them highly, however I'm concerned they are not "made" for the M3 specifically and may screw the handling. However, I may give them a try.

Also, I'm having trouble sourcing the 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 Combo in the UK at present. Four CSC3 looking around £830, cheapest I can find these is £668. Anyone found cheaper?

While the suspension may have been refined by BMW using PS2s and Contis, the effects of switching to the Vreds are less drastic that the other things we do to our cars, like chaning springs, wheels & adding spacers. You will not be dissapointed in them for general DD use. I've been very impressed.
