I like the swivel ones, it makes it easier when you have to plug something in/out since you want pull it away from the wall but when you push all the way against the wall, it also sit flat. The ones that stay put, are a pain when you have to hook something up this is the one I use http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 I had to buy a VESA adapter since my tv in 400x400 and this one is for 200x200 |

Mono price.
I bought a extendable mount from monoprice for my old LCD tv but now my new LED tv won't fit. Does anyone know if you can just buy the mount? I need a 200x200 to 400x400 conversion mount |

Have to agree Monoprice is the only place to go. These mounts are just bent metal and that as not worth more than $50. I can not believe how much the Best Buys of the world charge for them.

One thing to keep in mind that if you have an ultra thin TV - get an ultra thin mount. The normal mounts stick way out from the wall and look ridiculous. An ultra thin mount isn't as bulky and only sticks out about a half an inch.
Also, you can mount an ultra thin mount on a single stud if needed as the TV should only weigh 30'ish pounds. |

Ive had this one hanging fully extended with a 55" LCD for almost a year now with no issue. Just checked level the other day and it is still the same as when I bought it. Anchored into 2 studs, and also used 4 350lb Drywall Toggles. |
