Any jewelry experts here? Question about selling an engagement ring

Hey guys -

I was engaged a few years ago but we ended up breaking it off. I've had the engagement ring sitting in my drawer for a few years (I'm not exactly sure why), but I'd like to sell it and make a few bucks to put away for a rainy day.

Do any of you have any suggestions on how/where to sell this thing? I bought it at a reputable (big) jeweler (for about $7,000) and while I know that I overpaid, I'm hoping that I can get at least half of that back.

I listed it on Craigslist and did some research on possibly posting it on eBay - but does anyone have a better way or any suggestions?

Details on the ring:

IGI Certified
Weight: 1.23 carats (S)
Color: Near colorless (G)
Size: 5.77x5.55x4.38mm
Clarity: VS(1)
Polish/Symmetry: Good/Good

I've got all the documentation and even the original sales receipt.

Well i would say you to go to your nearest jeweler shop and show all the documents, receipt and the ring.I am sure you'll get the required amount.
