Oh sweet another parts car!

Stock M3 should come with 440hp and weigh 3600lbs.

^^^

Same point as any other product by any other manufacturer: to make money. And I'm sure it will do just that.

^^^ Ok so I understand having several different versions of the same car to make more money in different markets.

But with all this attention being brought to the e90 M3 at the end of its life for possibly many years. Why would they do that. This will only make more people upset who want an F30 M3, and find out there isnt one.

Is there any chance this is showing that BMW does indeed still think there is a market for a 4dr M3. Will they possibly make one in the next model lineup?

I guess I can keep dreaming.

Upon further thought, I like what I have done to the E90 M3 better than this GTS E90 M3!

After all, I have the lightweight Carbon Fiber roof and boot lid, thanks to Challenge and IND!

i still think there will be a f30 m3. these people are in the business of whoring out the m brand, and they are going to continue to do whatever it takes to make money, which would lead me to believe that they will eventually make a f30 m3 sedan because there is a market for fast sedans.

BMW absolutely thinks there is a market for a four door M3. There is a very good chance we'll see either an F34 M3 GT or F3x M3/M4 Gran Coupe or perhaps both.

End of cycle seems to be a celebration for BMW. Look at the 1M, another end of cycle project.

Especially considering the huge premium they'll probably be asking for them.

It will for sure be in the 80-100k price range. Cool that all of this comes standard, but like others have stated, the M3's competitors have made/will make something better than this, for a lesser price tag. Would be nice to see, but i think "special edition" M3's are too expensive and not as amazing as they should be. Don't get me wrong, the M3 is a perfectly built and balanced car.. but for the money, the "special editions" aren't so "special"..

They need to build an equivalent to Mercedes Benz's upcoming C63 Black Series. A powerful GT street car that would be sold in the US.

Now that would stir up my pot. This LTW has been done by IND already.

255/35 front tires and 285/30 rear tires with larger rotors (than standard M3), a modified exhaust system, and sport suspension.
How do you fit 285s on the OEM rims?

I'm assuming the BMW Performance exhaust system

and Sport Suspension, so KW CSs rebadged?
