Dark Gray Powder Coated OEM 19"s

This may be pointless, but does any body know about how much it would cost to powder coat a set of the OEM 19"s in dark gray. I've seen it done on ol'smookey's car and like it, and I want to know how much it would be.

This may be even more of a long shot, but would any one recommend a place to have it done in either Houston or Austin, Texas???

Thanks, JC

I wholeheartedly second this recommendation. The one problem is you probably won't get a real fast turn around. They're so good, they always have a significant backlog of work.

Metropolitan Collision here in Houston. Pretty much the best body/paint shop in Houston. I've worked with Andy and Jason on several occasions. They're good people.

Andy Holder is the manager at Metropolitan Collision. He is a real nice guy and his shop does, as far as I am concerned, the highest quality body work in the city of Houston. I was in and out within a week with uncompromising customer service every step of the way.

Trust me, they can do anything on a BMW, I know from experience (a few times unfortunately). The local dealers out source their body work there.

They are good and certainly do have a backlog, but I have always called the morning of and had my car back within a week. Highly recommended! We should be paid for this advertisement!

Same here. After my E46 was hit by an uninsured drunk, I thought it was totaled, but they made it feel perfect again, at least physically (there was nothing they could do about my psychological scars post-accident). I couldn't believe how clean their work was from the welds to the perfect body panel allignment.

You're looking at anywhere between $100 to $250 per wheel depending on the shop.
