Upgrading to LCI's
To keep it short:
I've got a 2008 E93 M and I'm gearing up to upgrade to LCI's. EU tails or US tails? anybody got pics of EU tails, I havent found a decent side by side comparison to help my decision. |

Don't have a pic handy but get one later. My car is an LCI so it came with the LCI tails but I made the switch from the US to the EU tails. Only difference is the EU blinks amber. When not blinking they look identical to the US tails...

So might as well go for the EU ones...now does anybody know if they're coded differently or is it the same? |

See my response in your other thread but once the car is coded for LCI tails, the EU tails don't require special coding. For my LCI car the EU tails were plug and play, no coding required for EU.

If you are pre-LCI upgrading to LCI will need to be coded. |

Not aware of a DIY though there may be on. DON'T go to the stealer, get in touch with one of the coders on the forum, Mike Benvo, Alex etc. They can do it remotely for you...
