My GTR hasn't cost me much at all.

I drive it every day, and it's been nothing more than the periodic oil change.

Brakes I'll go aftermarket. Cheaper and upgraded.

The fluid flush is so infrequent that I really don't care.

Yeah I don't think the real-real costs to keep a GT-R on the road are as bad as they've sometimes been ginned up to be. It's definitely bigger dollars than an M3, but if you can afford a $90k+ car in the first place, c'mon.

I agree there's probably lots of dealers raping people in the ass though because they figure they can. Some of the sleaziest dealers I've ever encountered were Nissan dealerships.

Either your friend tracks the piss out of the car or he replaces things too frequently. But I'm failing to see the "gtr has expensive maintenance" in any of that.

My 2010 GTR has roughly 8000 miles. So far 0 cost of maintenance and miss 0 appointment as a DD. But did change the pedal shifter once.

Not Bad If I will pay almost 91k for a car I'd expect it to run fine for at least the first 50k miles, with the regual maintenance (like oil change and etc...)

The most important point to me is can you stand getting spanked by a GTR when it toys with you on the road. If not GTR.

Wife drives the X5M around with my kid hehe. GTR is not babe friendly, just way too stiff at least for 2010.

X5M is very gental as a DD, as long as you leave the M button alone. Driving the GTR around NYC is painful, very painful. I hope 2012 does a better job.
