Yep, another tire size question for ZCP style wheels.
I have Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's mounted on my Avant Garde ZCP style wheels. The exact specs are bellow.
Front: 19x9 ET18 - 245/35 Rear: 19x10 ET25 - 265/35 The rears tires are new and if possible it would be nice to reuse them up front. Could I put the rear tires on the front wheels without experiencing any rubbing? the car is stock but will eventually be lowered a bit. I just want to make sure the front could handle the wider tire. For the rear I'd like to get some more grip and was looking into getting a pair of 295/30's. However, if the rear is too big I can go either 285/30 or 285/35. Anybody got some suggestions as to which way I should go. Also, are run flats better or worse for handling? I've had both types, but not on my M3. Thanks guys! |

As far as the back, 285/30 is the ideal fit but they are shorter and no pss are available. If you are going to the 295 I would get the ad08r over the pss, they actually look normal on the zcp wheel. The pss to me has a serious bulge.

Thanks for responding @kawasaki00
What would you suggest for the front, and how do the ad08r handle during the wet season? Also, which 285/30 tire would you recommend? |

Looking into the ad08r there are a few possible front & back wheel setups. However, the closest to the M3 GTS that runs 255/35 and 285/30 in the ad08r is 255/35 and 295/30. There is also a 265/30, would that rub?
There isn't a 285/30 in either ad08r or the PS2's so it seems going larger would be better than downsizing to the 275/30's to me, but I'm just guessing. |

Yup, and I'd go with PSS's living in this wet environment...stock sizes work great too and are razor sharp on the road...just sayin.

There are several manufacturers that make a quality 285/30/19. The Continental ContiSportContact 5Ps are an excellent tire. These are OEM in the GTS sizes on the Merc. AMG cars. I had these and these are definitely up there with the Mich. PSS. Also, I currently am running the new Toyo T1Sports in the GTS sizes and I am very pleased with them. Also, Pirelli Pzeros come in the GTS sizes and these as well are OEM for the Merc. AMG cars.

Thanks for the responses guys. So many options to choose from. I think I'm just going to stick with the stock tire until I get a better wheel setup. I'm starting to not like the ZCP wheel look - seems a bit boring.
