Pirelli P Zero's. They're getting swapped out for PSS's as soon as possible. They'll likely be out of tread by around 10k anyway knowing my past experience with crap Pirellis.

i got p zeros on mine (2012 took deliv memorial day weekend) and at 6k they are starting to get a little thin. but i really like them. if the 3 OEM tires (contis, pirelli, much) i got what i would consider middle of the road. looking forward to contrasting the super sports though. or i may even consider the bridgestones.

Really hope mine comes with Michelins! I'm still trying to get my posting privileges worked out. Stealing a family members account FTW!

My '13 E92 came with Michelin's. They just said Pilot Sport, and not Super Sport which surprised me. I guess I PS2's. I'll have to compare tread patterns when it gets back to the US.

I am taking delivery of a 2013 E92 this week. I just asked the dealer and learned that the car arrived with P Zeros.
Anybody have an idea why BMW is switching to the Pirelli's? |

The Pirelli's have been coming on M3's for a few years and are much better option than the Conti's. You should be happy with anything other than Conti's.

When I put a set of PS2's on my B8 S4 they just said 'Pilot Sport' as well, so I'm guessing those are PS2s. I think Michelin is still making PS2's, right?

I got PZero's for an early July build E92. I have the predecessors (P-700s) on my other coupe (E21 Euro) and I like them just fine.

Ditto. I will probably wear out the PZero's quickly (maybe 5,000 miles including a track session or two) before I upgrade to the PSS
