Question Offset on rear only? E93

Hey everyone,

I recently joined the cl ub with a 2010 e93 m3 with EDC. It wasn’t until weeks after owning the car that I realized it had a square set up with 245/35/ZR19 220M style wheels all around. The stock set up has 265s in the rear. It won’t be for a few months until I can buy two 265s. What would be the cons or negative performance effects if I put 20mm spacers in the Rear? The fender gap looks huuuuge now that I’ve noticed and I’d love the to give it the original look. Or if you have any other remedies what would you suggest?

You probably have a 19X8.5" front and rear when it should be a 19X9.5 rear to fit a 265 tire. The rear should be a 19X9.5 with an ET23.
