personally believe spending over $3000 on HRE is wasting money. yes bbs is little heavier than other light weight wheels but it is safer.

lets get some 20" HRE P40 weights to compare
If a 20x10 is 25 pounds, I'm sure the HRE isnt much lighter if any lighter at all.

A 20x10.5 rear P40 weighs around 26 lbs.

BBS, no question about it.

Look at the stats and history of both companies, which one has more experience and is used more by OEM manufacturers....if BMW trust BBS to make their wheels...it says something.

I have had both HRE and BBS on my e46 M3. In terms of quality, design and finish, I would not hesitate to say go with BBS.
