Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta vs Hankook Ventus V12 Evo?

Read both tires are great however would like some peoples opinion that have actually tried both. In particular how they compare against each other for dry traction, road noise & ride harshness (I hear the Vred's are harsher than PS2's due to having a stiffer sidewall). Here's what I see as pros & cons:

Vred:

- Looks better (designed by Giugiaro Design)

Hankook:

- Less expensive by about ~$100 - $150
- Less harsh

Am I missing anything? I've got Volk TE37 Time Attack (e46 M3 specs) so will be running these sizes if it matters:

245/35/19
275/35/19

Any help would be appreciated, thx!

- Jimmy

It's been discussed a few times. I think searching will be best option for you.
But there is no def. answer as no one actually experienced both tires.
But both owners are pretty happy with their tire choices (either Vred or Hankook Evo).

I went with Hankook Evo V12 in exact same size you're planning. Very quite and grips well. I like them and they have 50 bucks rebate promo going on too.

Wow, the Hankook's are $100 less than the Vreds? Per tire? I thought the Vreds were a great deal compared to the PS2s.

I've searched already & no one has really tried both from what I've read unless I missed it. Ya, I saw that promo going on in addition to being ~$100 - $150 less expensive for the whole set.

On average for a whole set, it's ~$100 - $150 less expensive than Vred's also there's a $50 mail-in rebate.

I'd go V12's due to cost, and they perform very good plus are readily available.

Already did that & as of on Thursday night when I checked, there were only 3 reviews since I guess TR just started carrying them.

Ya, at this point that's what I'm leaning towards.
