MCS is a streetable suspension, even with spring rates that may think your eyes will fall out. However, it's not going to be butter smooth. The ability to hold the road surface is uncanny with high end dampers. Even my old Ohlins from 2002-ish vintage on the E46M3 make a huge different from the E90M3's stock dampers.
I repeat this story every time as an example of what a high end damper can do for you. On a street near my house that I drive many times per week, there is a bump (big one) right at the apex of the roundabout exit. In my E90M3, the car is pushed towards the outside of the corner a good 6" when I take it at speed. In the E46M3 the bump is just soaked up and the car holds the line. Now, is that worth thousands of $? I guess it depends. If I tracked as much as I used to "back in the day", I'd slap a set of MCS doubles on in a heartbeat. However, since I don't I make the Ohlins (and Eibach pro kit springs) do even though they are less desirable on the track. It's a compromise. This setup is way better than stock for the street and the track. See if you can find people around you that have different setups and go for a ride. Maybe a BMW Club meet or Bimmerfest, etc. will usually have a few options to look at. Good luck!

having seen a set of GTS clubsports opened up being rebuilt at my tuner i cn honestly say, the KW CS are right their with the best, their construction alone is just beautiful. Not only do the perform , they last too, i would happily choose them and enjoy the savings and be very happy with my purchase.

Looks fine. Make the rears equal and anticipate a .5" rake to the front and you should be good to go.
