Hi Everyone,

Well Today Im going to stop by my BMW dealership, I was wondering on how to approach the salesman should I be up front and tell him Im looking to purchase at invoice price + reasonable profit or should I let him give me and offer and go from there. Thank You for your advise

I would suggest getting several quotes via email/internet. Then you can use those to work on your local dealer.

Personally, I plan to go in and establish that I know exactly what I want and I know what I would like to pay, invoice plus 'my goal'. Asking for their best price first probably won't do much, since it will be higher than what your target is.

Be prepared by knowing what your invoice price is. I calculated $65,275 for your configuration, including gas guzzler, MACO, and training fees. So that should be your starting point.

Good Luck.

I would get a couple of quotes like some one said, knowing the invoice let the salesman biuld your car with your options, have him do all the numbers then if you like the deal go for if not tell him you've got a couple of quotes and tell him you want to pay XXK (make sure you go a little under ivoice or invoice) he might refuse to give you that price so then you make him abn offer above invoice that you're confortable with.

Good Luck!

If you dont want to deal with the typical sales guy then go to Patrick BMW and talk with Chris Lima.

He wont "play dumb" when it comes to invoice + profit like how most sales guys do. Plus hes really easy to deal with with no pressure. If you want more info feel free to PM me.
